Inspired by the ambiguity of the title “Stupefacente,” we designed the visual identity for the Bolzano Teatro Stabile’s theater season around the concepts of wonder, disorientation, and perceptual intensity.
Contenuti del progetto
The repetition of the lettering and its gradual unfolding towards the viewer create a dense, almost theatrical visual space for imagination and interpretation. The black-and-white contrast of the typographic composition accentuates the immersive effect.
We developed the visual system as a flexible language adaptable to different media and contexts. From digital communication to printed materials, each medium contributes to creating a consistent experience that enhances the engaging and performative nature of the theatre season.
The same approach was used when designing the theatre programme: a minimalist publication that has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail, striking colour contrasts and a clear hierarchy of information. This system guides the reader, conveying the rhythm and intensity of the theatre season even on the page.
