Contenuti del progetto
The first section is presented as a travel diary, offering a historical and visual chronicle of encounters, projects and insights that reveal the studio’s multifaceted identity and its ability to open up glass to different disciplines, imaginations and sensibilities.
The second and third sections focus on Glasstress, a project started in 2009 that aims to foster dialogue between contemporary artists and the expressive potential of glass. The narrative expands to explore the many dimensions of glass art, examining the interplay between material, artistic gesture, and technical experimentation.
Semi-transparent inserts run through the volume like suspended surfaces, evoking the opalescent quality of glass. These inserts bring together the voices of the Glasstress artists and introduce light pauses that expand the rhythm of reading, amplifying the material dimension.
This imagery is conveyed through typography featuring wedge-shaped terminals, sharp angles, and strong contrast. This choice echoes the facets and cuts of glass, translating its formal qualities into a graphic language.
