On the occasion of the Biennale Arte 2022, we designed the visual identity of the exhibition ‘Bosco Sodi at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani. What Goes Around Comes Around’ ispired by the core principles of artist Bosco Sodi’s work: essential geometries and materic predominance.

Sodi’s work rejects predetermination, entrusting itself to time and matter to find a unique, unrepeatable form. What returns carries the memory of its origin, but never fully coincides with it. In the square, we found the visual synthesis of this dynamic: an elementary form that accompanies typography from origin to return, while adapting seamlessly across scales and formats.
The exhibition catalog is a further space of resonance. The layout is built on clean lines, ample white space, and a palette of earthy tones. High-quality, varied papers underscore the tactile essence of his work, with a textured cover and exposed spine connecting to Sodi’s humble materials.
A series of illustrations in a separate booklet guide visitors through the exhibition, providing an alternative to the usual captions. Integrated into the architecture of the Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, the booklet engages a dialogue with the works of art and the spaces in which they are displayed.
